I am a multidisciplinary storyteller, experiential designer, artist, and creative director driven by a passion for creating meaningful connections between people, spaces, and ideas. My practice spans spatial and experiential design, production design, set and stage design, painting, collage, multimedia art, and community-centered programming. Across disciplines, I am interested in crafting experiences that engage the senses, evoke emotion, and invite people into deeper forms of connection and participation.
Originally from Tehran, Iran, my early experiences were shaped by societal restrictions that limited my ability to fully express my authentic self. Relocating to Los Angeles opened new possibilities and gave me the freedom to pursue a creative life rooted in curiosity, storytelling, and human connection. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design from California State University, Long Beach, followed by a Master of Science in Spatial Experience Design from ArtCenter College of Design. During my studies, I had the opportunity to live and study in Berlin, Germany, an experience that expanded my perspective on culture, design, and the role of public space in shaping collective experiences.
Having lived in Tehran, Los Angeles, and Berlin, I have developed a deep appreciation for the ways environments communicate stories and influence how people relate to one another. Travel, observation, and cultural exchange continue to inform my creative process, alongside my personal journey toward freedom and self-expression.
In 2025, I founded Art is for Ordinary People, a cultural initiative dedicated to making art more accessible, approachable, and participatory. Through workshops, exhibitions, conversations, and unconventional art experiences, the project creates opportunities for people from all backgrounds to engage with creativity outside traditional institutional settings. At its core, the initiative reflects my belief that art belongs to everyone and that creative experiences can foster connection, curiosity, and community.
Whether designing immersive environments, producing events, creating visual artwork, or building platforms for collective participation, my work is rooted in a simple goal: to create experiences that help people feel more connected; to themselves, to one another, and to the stories that shape our world.
